Search Openings | AEOP Internships and Fellowships United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point - Research Assistant for Novel Propellant Bonding Agent Design and Testing Project Description: This position is based within the United States Military Academy's (USMA) Department of Chemical and Biological Science and Engineering. The research is funded and in support of an industry partner with background technology to print ammonium perchlorate propellant using innovative 3D printer hardware and propellant formula. However, it requires a unique propellant bonding agent for its technology to be successful. USMA's lab will discover and collect data on any possible new bonding agents and send that information to the industry partner for further evaluation. Common tasks will include literature searches, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) experiments, and Instron tensile strength measurements.

Organic Chemistry Adjunct - Vassar College The Department of Chemistry at Vassar College has openings for adjunct positions in the Organic Chemistry Laboratory Curriculum for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. We are seeking applicants with a strong organic chemistry foundation and related teaching laboratory experience, preferably at the master's level or with equitable experience. The salary for the adjunct position is $4800 per lab section, which meets once a week for 4 contact hours during the semester (13 weeks per semester). We have supporting staff to help with set-up of labs and a student teaching assistant for additional support.
