Adjunct Instructor for Nursing Chemistry Fundamentals - Mount Saint Mary College
The Division of Natural Sciences at Mount Saint Mary College (Newburgh, NY) seeks qualified individuals to teach one or more sections of Nursing Chemistry Fundamentals, beginning Fall 2026, but also with the possibility of an ongoing basis. This course introduces nursing students to the basic concepts of general, organic, and biochemistry specifically as they apply to the life sciences. The 3-hour laboratory scheduled for the course will include one hour of recitation, which incorporates problem solving and the quantitative aspects of chemical behavior, along with 2 hours of hands-on laboratory work. Previously-developed materials are available for use. This course is offered in the traditional 15-week semester schedule. The semester starts August 24th and runs through mid-December.
